Our objective is to make young learners introduction to the English language as enjoyable as possible by using stories, games, songs, videos, and puzzles. Vocabulary and pronunciation are targeted early, and later students learn English grammar, giving them the tools and confidence to read, write, and, especially, to speak.
Our goal is to have students at a good level by 13-14 years of age and then at a level where they can pass the First Certificate exam by the age of 16.
Our Young Learners Department has its own study programme, adapted to suit the ages and interests of all students.
Our programme is divided into two sections:
- Infantil (6 to 10 year olds)
- Juniors (11 to 15 years old)
The table below shows the two levels for our young learners and how these levels correspond to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF).

Progress tests and reports
Infantil students have little progress tests and individual reports every trimestre.
Junior students have several “benchmarks” (quizzes, listenings, writings, speaking), as well as an exam at the end of each trimester.
We work with a task-based approach which provides a stimulating environment for young learners to use English as a means of communication from the start.
