Private classes are available for those students with a special need or who wish to accelerate their English learning. These classes may be one-to-one or in small groups.

Methodology:

Classes are tailor-made to student’s individual needs. We offer interesting and varied class activities in all four skill areas (speaking, reading, listening, writing), emphasizing specific areas according to the student’s special needs.

Classes are taught in a relaxed and natural atmosphere, using authentic materials whenever possible, always endeavouring to give learners the necessary building blocks to reach their language acquisition goals.

Student attendance and timetable changes

In the case where a student cannot attend class, the British American Institute (93 790 4989) must be informed 24 hours prior to such cancellation. (Or on the Friday before a Monday class.) Classes may be recuperated at a new time, but this flexibility may sometimes be limited by other commitments.

Rescheduled classes must take place no later than two weeks afterthe cancelled class. In the case where it is not possible to arrange a new date, the cost of the class will be discounted from the monthly bill.

In the case of further cancellations in the same calendar month in which the class cannot be rescheduled at a new date, the student will be charged the full amount for these missed classes.

Students should be punctual. Should a student arrive late, the termination of the class will be at the normally scheduled time.

Payment

The monthly rate is to be paid in advance. Matriculation implies acceptance of the above terms and conditions.
